Install
setupBA.exe
This
setup file will automatically detect what operating system you are running
(32-bit or 64-bit). The Windows .NET 2.0 Framework (22.4MB) will also
be automatically downloaded if not already installed on your system.
The
full install provides a fully functional, 30-day evaluation of BackupAssist
v4 including all add-ons. After using BackupAssist for the defined trial
period, you must purchase a registration key or remove the software from
your system.
Upgrade

If
you already have BackupAssist v4.x installed complete the following to
upgrade to the latest version (release notes):
1.
Download setupBA.exe
2.
Uninstall BackupAssist from your machine:

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
4.
Choose 'Please keep all of my jobs, reports and other settings' during the
uninstall process.
5.
Run the setupBA.exe file to upgrade to the latest version.
6.
The upgrader includes all the necessary files to complete the upgrade

v4.0.11 and later comes with an automatic migration tool for migrating version
3 job settings to version 4; this eliminates the hassle of having to recreate
existing jobs from scratch. See the following help file for instructions
